The Ladies of MAWU present ‘MUD’… for dancers who like to get down and dirty!
MUD is a freestyle dance session open to all dancers who love to get down to deep, funky, soulful house music. Join us as we explore movement to the sounds of our favorite house DJs for a non-stop 2 hour session. MUD (which stands for ‘movement un-defined’) is an attempt to create an extension of the club experience within an informal studio setting. It is not a class, or a workshop… it’s an opportunity for you to do whatever you want to do without fear of judgment, labelling or typecasting. Whether you want to practice footwork, experiment with lofting, release some tension or just roll around on the floor, you are welcome in our house!
